This week's episode of WWE Raw emanates from the Amica Mutual Pavilion in Providence, Rhodes Island! The LWO battle The Judgment Day. The Intercontinental Championship tournament begins. Bronson Reed and Braun Strowman face off. Uncle Howdy makes his in-ring debut against Chad Gable. Randy Orton addresses his world title match against Gunther, and much more.

We Hear From The Judgment Day
Finn Balor leads Carlito, JD McDonagh. Dominik Mysterio, and Liv Morgan to the ring. Balor says Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest got what they deserved when they were kicked out of the Judgment Day. Balor also says last week is just a preview of what will happen to Ripley and Priest at Bash in the Berlin. Morgan says she hopes that Ripley and Priest see that she and Dominik will always be on top. Dominik says Morgan has done things for him that Ripley had never done, like beat his "deadbeat" dad. Dominik then announces his entry into the Intercontinental Championship tournament.
Rey Mysterio's music hits. He arrives alongside the LWO's Dragon lee, Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro. Rey says his son is out of control and someone needs to put him in his place. Dominik retorts by pointing out that he defeated his father, Rey, weeks ago. Rey calls Dominik and Morgan jackasses, then invites Dominik to slap him. Instead, McDonagh clocks him, leading to brawl between the LWO and Judgment Day. Dragon Lee then wipes out Judgment Day with a leap to the outside.
LWO vs Judgment Day
Like Lee moments before, Wilde wipes out the Judgment Day at ringside. In the match's closing moments, Rey takes down Dominik from the top rope, then clocks Balor and Carlito. Dominik fights back, but Rey takes him down again for a two count. Rey goes up top and lands a sunset flip on Dominik. Wilde, Del Toro, and Lee level the Judgment Day, leaving Dominik to fend for himself. The LWO fly out of each side of the ring and onto member of the Judgment Day.
Rey sets up Dominik for a 619 and hits it. Balor distracts the referee as Rey then looks for a stomp, prompting Morgan to pull Dominik out of harm's way. Dominik rolls up Rey for the win.
Winner: Judgment Day
After the match, Judgment Day try to send Rey crashing through the announce table. Rhea Ripley and Damien Priest, however, look to stop them. Ripley slams Morgan's head into the announce table, then the ring post. Dominik finds himself trapped between Ripley and Priest until Morgan jumps on Ripley's back. The rest of the Judgment Day join in to beat down Ripley and Priest, but Ripley and Priest fight them off. Ripley then hits a Riptide on McDonagh, while Priest delivers a South of Heaven to Carlito.
Backstage, The Miz says he's looking forward to the Intercontinental Championship tournament, as it gives him a chance to tie for the most IC titles reigns in WWE history. He is then met face-to-face with Bronson Reed, who defeated him last week, and took out Seth Rollins and R-Truth the weeks prior. Reed acknowledges that he will face Braun Strowman later tonight, but after that, he plans to circle back to The Miz and take him out as well.
IYO SKY & Kairi Sane vs. Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark
In the match's closing moments. Zoey Stark dropkicks Kairi Sane from off the top rope, then positions her on top of the turnbuckle. A returning Zelina Vega then attacks Sonya Deville at ringside, paving the way for Sane to push Stark back into the ring. SKY hits a moonsault on Shayna Baszler on the outside, while Sane lands an Insane Elbow on Stark for the win in the ring.
Winners: SKY & Sane
In a VHS tape promo, Bo Dallas (Uncle Howdy) calls Chad Gable a "false prophet" that is masquerading as a loving shepherd. Dallas says Gable is leading his lambs, aka The Creed Brothers, into the mouths of wolves, aka The Wyatt Sicks.
Drew McIntyre Promo
Drew McIntyre mocks CM Punk and his promo material, which he says usually consists of a retrospective tidbits and stories revolving around fans. McIntyre then sits down crisscross, much like Punk usually does. McIntyre says Punk is scared of him, which is why he keeps attacking McIntyre from behind. McIntyre says every time the crowd chants for Punk, it fuels his ego, and thus gives him the courage to challenge McIntyre to a strap match. McIntyre tells the fans they will be to blame when he leaves Punk with scars at Bash in Berlin.
McIntyre is upset that the fans chose nostalgia over the "warrior" that got them through the darkest of times during the COVID-19 pandemic. McIntyre vows to lash Punk with the strap at Bash in Berlin.
Punk's music hits and he emerges from behind, equipped with a strap in hand. McIntyre fends him off, bounces Punk off the announce table and lands a flurry of strikes. McIntyre looks to hit Punk with the strap, but Punk sends him flying into the announce table. A furious Punk then whips McIntyre with the strap, while security arrives to stop him. As McIntyre flees, Punk whips several security members with the strap. Punk and McIntyre stare down.
Intercontinental Championship Contender Tournament: Karrion Kross vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Jey Uso
Jey Uso and Kofi Kingston double team Karrion Kross with a series of stomps in the opening moments. Later, Kingston breaks up a Texas Cloverleaf with a pinfall attempt on Kross, to which Kross kicks out of. Uso then dives off the top rope looking to take out Kross, but Kross ducks out of the way. Uso hits a spear on the rebound. Uso then returns to the top rope and successfully hits an Uso Splash for the win.
Winner: Jey Uso
Randy Orton Speaks
Randy Orton says he has won a lot of titles in his career, but he loves the World Heavyweight Championship the most. Orton recalls being the youngest world champion in WWE history. Orton then recalls unifying the WWE and World Heavyweight Championships in 2013, meaning he was the last person to have his name engraved on the original latter title. Orton says with a new World Heavyweight Championship, there is a new title and a new legacy for him to cement.
Orton then turns his attention to the current World Heavyweight Champion Gunther, who is considered a living legend to the people in Europe. Orton points out, however, that Gunther will be facing someone who many consider the most controversial man in over 20 years -- himself. Orton says the WWE Universe has watched him grow up and learn from his mistakes, until eventually he took out the shadows and earned the respect that comes with his name.
Orton says Gunther was an egotistical pr*ck when he arrived to WWE, something Orton once also was. In Orton's case, though, he says he was humbled. Orton now looks to humble and defeat Gunther at WWE Bash in Berlin. Orton vows to utilize the three most powerful letters in sports entertainment -- R-K-O.
Braun Strowman vs. Bronson Reed
Braun Strowman lands a dropkick and series of punches to Reed. Reed responds with a crossbody and suicide dive onto Strowman. Later, Reed tries to walk to the back, but Strowman knocks him down from behind. Reed sends Strowman crashing into the LED screen. The action spills backstage, with Reed launching a steel trash can into Strowman.
Strowman takes out three security members who stand in his way. Strowman and Reed enter the parking lot area. Strowman chokeslams Reed onto the hood of a car. Strowman launches a metal piece at Reed, but Reed moves out of the way. Reed finds a pipe and strikes Strowman with it. Reed jumps off a ledge, delivering a Tsunami to Strowman, who is lying on the roof of a car.

Intercontinental Championship Contender Tournament: The Miz vs. Xavier Woods vs. Pete Dunne
In the match's closing moments, Miz delivers a double DDT to Dunne and Woods. With Dunne and Woods on their knees, Miz then lands a series of kicks and a running clothesline. Miz hits a crossbody, but Woods rolls through. Woods hits a vertical gut buster on Miz, then sends Dunne crashing on top of him.
Woods covers both competitors for a potential fall, but Dunne and Miz both kick out. Woods and Dunne trade chops, then are joined by Miz. Dunne with a step up enziguri and a kick to Woods. Miz hits the Skull Crushing Finale on Woods, but Dunne pulls him off to break up the subsequent pinfall attempt. Miz then stops the count on Dunne's own pinfall attempt and finds himself trapped in a crossface. Woods delivers a kick to break up the submission. Woods goes up top for diving elbow on Miz. Dunne pulls the referee and then Woods out of the ring. Dunne lands the Bitter End on Miz for the win.
Winner: Pete Dunne
Backstage, Bron Breakker gives props to both Jey Uso and Pete Dunne for advancing in the Intercontinental Championship tournament, but warns that the worst has yet to come for whoever emerges as the ultimate winner.
WWE plays a tribute video to Sid Eudy, also known as Sycho Sid, who sadly passed away earlier this week.
Chad Gable vs. Uncle Howdy
Uncle Howdy arrives to the ring in the darkness, with only a lantern and the "fireflies" of the WWE Universe illuminating his path to the ring. After the bell, Gable and Howdy lock up, with Howdy taking down Gable with knees to the gut, a clothesline, and a powerslam. Gable then retreats to the outside.
Back from break, Howdy rolls away from Gable's diving headbutt. Gable and Howdy trade blows until Gable levels Howdy with a toss to the outside. Gable goes up top and leaps onto Howdy. Gable charges toward Howdy, but instead gets hit with a backdrop and hip attack into the barricade. Howdy throws Gable over the announce table and looks to put Gable through it, but Gable counters with a slam of his own.
Howdy rolls back into the ring before the referee's count of ten. Gable strikes him with a series of elbows and lands a superlex off the top rope. Gable follows up with three German Suplexes. Gable looks for Chaos Theory but Howdy pushes him off and hits a sit-down uranage. Howdy rallies and looks for Sister Abigail, but Ivy Nile distracts the referee. This allows Gable to cinch in the ankle lock on Howdy. Howdy counters by sending Gable crashing into the referee.
Howdy applies the Mandible Claw on Gable, which the Creed Brothers break by pulling Howdy out of the ring and crashing him into the barricade. The lights flicker off and on, revealing the male members of the Wyatt Sicks. Erick Rowan sets up Julius Creed on the outside until Ivy Nile jumps on his back to stop him. The Wyatt Sicks and American Made brawl into the crowd.
Back in the ring, Gable goes for a moonsault and misses. Howdy then nails him with a Sister Abigail for the win.
Winner: Uncle Howdy
