So let's see, what else did we do? We took an boat ride on the General Jackson Showboat tour boat. That's me above enjoying a beverage and no, it's not beer, it's some kind of slushy drink. They must have been out of beer. It was a nice tour, about a 3 1/2 hour tour and included a nice lunch and they put a show on for us, singing and dancing.

  • General Jackson Showboat

We went to the Johnny Cash Museum, Patsy Clint Museum, Goo Goo Chocolates (I had never heard of them but apparently they are famous chocolates), Wax Museum, Bavarian Bier Hall, Historic Belle Meade and Winery , Marathon Automobiles, Parthenon and possibly a few bars...........

  • Marathon Motors
  • Wax Museum
  • I forget the name of this bar but we had a nice lunch and live entertainment
  • Goo Goo Chocolates
  • Miranda Lambert's Bar
  • Entertainment at Miranda Lambert's bar
  • Another bar but I don't remember the name
  • The Bat Building !
  • Belle Meade
  • Belle Meade
  • Living Waters Brewery
  • Living Waters brewery inside

Belle Meade was an interesting place, it's an old plantation and we had a tour of the house and grounds. We were not allowed to touch anything in the house, or take photos, or sit down, I hardly took a breath lol. We paid $28 a person for an hour tour and then we played some games outside and had a glass of wine.

Marathon Motors was a car production spot and now there is a small car museum and the rest of the buildings are turned into stores and shops.

We also ate at a Bob Evan's restaurant one morning to have breakfast. Never again, maybe it was just this one but it was not good..........at all........nuff said.

But we really did enjoy Nashville and I know we didn't see everything and I would like to go back one day.

But now, we're off to Memphis !
