Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 79°, sunny with a few clouds, 20% chance of rain, winds from the east northeast at 4 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 64%.
Well, I'm a bit stiff this morning. I got Mom to the lab yesterday. I had a hard time yesterday. Felt like a huge cloud was over me all day. Still kind of feel that way, but I think it's all the crap going on in our country right now. Plus recovering from surgery. And other things going on.
Anyhoo. I ended up going outside and attempted to weed the front flower bed. No weed eating has been done since I did it last. The weeds were pretty high. I got probably 2/3 of it weeded before I started hurting too much and had to quit.
I made supper last night, too. Scrambled eggs with cheese, blueberry pancakes, toast, and SPAM. Yep. I cracked open a can of bacon SPAM. It wasn't bad, really. It did taste like bacon. It went decently with the meal. I made sure it was super crispy, too. It tasted way better than it smelled, let me tell you.
Today, I'll be grocery shopping. If I'm able to, I'll also be trying to help Pop switch out the sump tank. I don't know what all I'll be able to do other than be moral support. I'm very stiff and sore today. I shouldn't have weeded last night. I just needed to do something.
I need to get the ledgers balanced today, too, and get the tithes paid.
