A couple of weeks ago, there was a quadrille (44 words) challenge on dVerse where we were to use the word "moon". I then decided to challenge myself further by writing what is called a shovel poem where you choose one line of a poem and then create a poem of the same number of lines as there are words in said line, using each word as the last line in your poem. I googled moon poems and came up with this one. The problem is, I don't know if the poem is written by the blogger himself or if it comes from a somewhere else. I liked it so I'm using it! Whatever. It comes from here and the poem is called Lunar Lover. The line is: Lost in your lunar embrace.
Gazing up at the watery moon; I'm Lost
I can't decide if I will go out or stay in
I can't help but wonder if you're on your
balcony, looking up at this same lunar
light and wishing, like me, to feel your embrace
