Today's Bible Reading- Jeremiah Chapters 41-43.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 95°, sunny, 10% chance of rain, moderate air quality, light smoke hazard, wind is currently calm, and humidity is sitting at 93%.
It's going to be hot today, peeps. My computer is saying there's a heat advisory for us today. The heat index will be in the triple digits today.
The good news: the bills are paid, and the groceries are in. The fish have had breakfast, although they didn't come up for it this morning. I think they're jsut trying to stay cool. That or they were resting. My a/c is keeping my room cool. The coffee is delicious. I got the rat out of my yarn on one of my projects.
Other good news? Well, I switched suppers last night. We had grilled hot dogs and slaw for supper. I think tonight will be maybe Pad Thai. It's much too hot to run the oven today. Once that kitchen gets hot, it takes a long time for it to cool.
Pop has an interview about an hour and a half from the house on Monday. Tuesday he'll be flying out to another state to work on something there and he'll be gone until Saturday.
The bad news? It's hot. That's pretty much it. It's hot.
Also, Pop didn't listen to me and decided to make quick pickles with some over-ripe pickling cucumbers. When I say over-ripe, I mean they were yellow. No green on them whatsoever. He made three pints of them. He would have made more, but I don't have any more jars.
That's about all I can think of at the moment. I need a bit more coffee, a shower, and I need to map out my goals for today. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends.
