measured by division, scorn, derision
all the tendrils fear bestows revision
of history, discarding mementos
warnings becoming worthless innuendoes
the commixture of propaganda lies
slogans and hashtags to accessorize
minds bent under the weight, inept response
as lifelong conditioning for the nonce
one painfully false premise at a time
revealed, examined, shed--of, life is fine
when in the fierce battle, awakened soul
explores dimensions revealed in the whole
as mirrors reflect lessons to be learned
embracing what's presented as gifts earned
