The picture shows a clear night sky from Brazil that is not only reflected from standing water but by a person holding a mirror. Please see the explanation for more detailed information.

We don't really get to see the sky that often, in the Chicago area.  Pollution, constant cloud cover, as well as trees and buildings.  When I'm in a place where the sky is visible, it's the most amazing thing.

Sometimes, in the winter, when it's freezing cold and the trees are bare, we can see some stars but I've never seen anything like parts of the Milky Way.  It's so beautiful.
