Popular radio and Television personality Captain Smart has diagnosed the cause of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo's failure as a President.

According to him, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo gave the party Chairmanship to a man who is not a member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and therefore does not understand the party's vision in order to direct the government.

He believes that if someone apart from Freddie Blay was Chairman of the political party, the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo government will be given good counsel in order to better the fortunes of the country.

But Freddie Blay who he describes as a round peg in a square hole he said has failed in his duties as Chairman of the NPP.

"I don't blame the NPP for the mess. They are led by a Chairman who is not a member of our party. He is not NPP so he cannot advise the President to think well. He came into the party with favour from Kufour. I remember Kufour asked that we don't present any candidate at Ellembelle so that we form a great alliance so he can't do anything about the NPP," he said on Onua TV.
