We are thrilled to announce the launch of our NEW in-person fall classes at the Janome Sewing & Learning Centre! Our team has been working hard to curate a selection of incredible classes designed to inspire and enhance your sewing skills. Whether you're a seasoned sewist or a curious beginner, we have something for everyone and we can't wait to share it with you!
Classes include embroidery, garment sewing, quilting, machine-specific techniques, and even some shoe making. This fall, the Janome Sewing & Learning Centre will be the place to be!

Stitch & Zip Travel Kit - Sewing
Date & Time: Wednesday October 2nd, 9th & 16th 10am-4pm
Teacher: Amanda Brown
Description: Together in a series of 3 classes we'll be making a sewing travel kit. A perfect way to keep all your sewing supplies and tools organized when you're on the go, like to a class at the Janome Sewing & Learning Centre! Click on the link HERE to register.
Kimberbell Family Game Night - Embroidery
Date & Time: Saturday October 5th 10am–4pm
Teacher: Amanda Brown
Description: Join us for a hands-on workshop delving deep into the enchanting world of Kimberbell embroidery kits! In this class, not only will you craft two stunning projects, ideal for your next Family Game Night, you'll also receive two additional projects to complete at your leisure with your Janome Embroidery machine at home! Quilted Sneakers - Quilting
Date & Time: Saturday November 2nd 10am-4pm or Tuesday November 5th 10am-4pm

Description: Perfect for those with a love for both quilting and unique footwear, this workshop will guide you through the process of designing and crafting your very own pair of quilted sneakers. Exploring the Janome Skyline S9
Date & Time: Friday October 25th 10am-4pm & Saturday October 26th 10am–4pm
Teacher: Michael Smith
Description: Join us for this 2-day intensive hands-on class as we explore all the capabilities the amazing Janome Skyline S9 has to offer.
Day 1: You will learn to navigate through the machine, including the time saving Sewing Applications Menu where the machine does the thinking for you. You will stitch samples using each of the included presser feet, learning when and how to use them.
Day 2: We explore the embroidery side of the machine using the amazing and time saving WiFi capabilities with the free Janome apps!
* Bring your Skyline S9, embroidery carriage with all included presser feet and accessories, as well as your iPad/tablet with the free Janome Apps installed: AcuEdit, AcuMonitor, AcuSetter, AcuSketch,
AcuFil Quilting with the Janome 500E/550E/550ELE - Quilting
Date & Time: Tuesday November 19th 10am–4pm
Teacher: Michael Smith
Description: In this class we will explore the capabilities of Janome's amazing AcuFil Quilting system, which turns your embroidery machine into a longarm quilting machine! Learn the fun, creative techniques of quilting in the hoop.
* Bring your Janome 500E, 550E or 550ELE embroidery machine with all accessories included, the Janome AcuFil Quilting Kit and a laptop with Windows-based operating system.
Sewing with Knits, Dress Edition - Sewing
Date & Time: Thursday November 14th & Friday November 15th
Teacher: Marie-Agnes
Description: Join our beginner-friendly garment sewing class, held in two parts, where you'll create a dress from start to finish. You'll learn to read a commercial pattern, take your own measurements, understand basic grading and pattern adjustments, and develop the skills needed to sew with knits.
Stitch Lab (Youth Version)
Date & Time: Sundays in November 1pm-4pm
Teacher: Amanda Brown
Description: Join us for a fun and engaging 4-week sewing series designed for young sewists ages 11+ eager to learn and create! In this hands-on class, participants will explore the basics of sewing while making a variety of exciting projects.
