We have been so blessed with rain this summer, and with that comes the gift of flowers and butterflies. They are all over, if you take the time to look.
Last summer I did not have full access to my walking/biking path near my home due to a sewer pipe project. The path is now 100% done! And because they cleared off so many of the trees and bush it left a lot of open dirt. This section of the path is actually at the edge of a wash area and can flood on rare occasions. There is a lot of wild stuff growing and occasionally we see javelina and coyotes.
They sprayed mulch over all the open dirt areas and it included some wild flower seeds.
Yesterday I wandered along the path and overgrown wash area. I was rewarded with some fun photos!

We see a hearse; we think sorrow. We see a grave; we think despair. We hear of a death; we think of a loss. Not so in heaven. When heaven sees a breathless body, it sees the vacated cocoon & the liberated butterfly.
