Today's Bible Reading- Isaiah Chapters 32-36.
July's Memory Verse- Proverbs 3:11-12.
"My son, do not reject the LORD's discipline, and do not despise his correction, because the LORD corrects the person he loves, just as a father corrects the son he delights in. " Proverbs 3:11-12 (ISV).
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 93°, mostly cloudy, 30% chance of rain, winds are calm for now, and humidity is sitting at 90%.
We got a surprise last night. We had a really decent rainstorm. A little thunder. Not much. I didn't see any lightning, but that doesn't mean we didn't have any. It just happened to be my bedtime.
The chicken and rice turned out decent. I had some cut up watermelon and cantaloupe on the side. I'd forgotten I'd bought it, and remembered it just before we ate. It was pretty tasty. I think that using the fajita seasoning on the chicken was a smart idea.
Tonight is burgers and tots night. I'll have to pull the burgers out of the freezer. Also, Mom got a call yesterday. Our shower is being delivered today between 11:00 this morning and 3:00 this afternoon.
Yesterday was a tough day mentally. I struggled. Kind of all started when Mom got mad at me for I don't know what reason. Turns out she was mad at herself and projecting on me. Still, I felt like a pathetic excuse for a human all day. Still feel that way this morning.
Um, today I'll need to do ledgers, finish what I didn't finish yesterday. Since the grass is soaked, the back yard won't be mowed today. It would gum up the mower blades. I can break down the remaining boxes, get the tickets for the Allen West event, and find multiple other things that I can do today.
That's about all I have for now, peeps. I have a shower to take, I need to get dressed, feed cats, feed fish, and get my day started. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
