I don't know about you, but I am in need of my strength being renewed.
I am in need of soaring above the things of this world.
I am in need of not growing weary!
Do you ever feel like this? Do you ever feel so weighed down by the things of this world that you just want to escape?
You are not alone.
If you don't believe me, all that you need to do is take a look at the life of Elijah. He was a faithful prophet. He was a faithful servant who stood up against the evils of his day and saw God move mightily because of this faithfulness. Still, Elijah faced troubles. He ran from Jezebel and wanted to die. Through all of this, the Lord gave him rest.
It is amazing what being able to rest in the Lord will do for your strength and your faith.
Are you in need of being able to rest in the Lord?
It is amazing how this rest will renew your strength, even when the enemy is relentless with his attacks. Even when you are doing the right thing, you will feel overwhelmed. Even when your desires are to walk with the Lord, you will have times that the weight of this world will be overwhelming. When this happens, and it will, do not lose sight of where you strength comes from.
Do you need to renew your strength?
Do you hope in the Lord?
