"We are originally indebted beyond the possibility of any economic restitution to let the Earth live on, not out of abandonment, but out of love itself, that is, this infinite renunciation which somehow surrenders to the impossible." - Jacques Derrida (On The Name; pp. 74)
It will certainly be difficult to say what the biggest challenge the world faces today, as there are many challenges the global community is facing simultaneously. There are challenges related to Climate Change, Poverty, Sustainable Development, Proper Education, in a proper form advent of Artificial Intelligence (AI), et al, and the future of mankind. All of these issues are said to bear the seeds of effective solutions to them, as well! Finally, it can be seen that they all are not only interconnected, but also are important by themselves.
Climate Change is a major issue and one of the most unrepairable, as well as uncontrollable, effects on Mother Nature, in spite of the awareness and the knowledge or the precautions taken as a measure to divert or avert its effect on nature. The exploitation of Mother Earth since the dawn of mankind has resulted in devastating after effects and yet we are careless enough to not sustain the rest of whatever we have left, as of now. The tremendous increase of global warming phenomena, the melting of Arctic and Antarctic ice caps, an alarming rise in the sea-level, deforestation, slash and burn cultivation, toxic pollutants, discovery of new germs and to top with these all, discovery of newer forms of germs and deadly viruses… It's the END GAME now.

In order to halt and reverse this process of destruction of nature, there are people trying to uphold the basic culture of habitation and ecosystem. However, it is equally astonishing to note on the other hand there are millions ready and practically aiding the market forces that work to finish and destroy, of what we few are trying to save.
Highlighting further in the case of those majority of millions who don't care about the environment, are hundreds of thousands who care about the money they make in the process. The one and only goal they have and they will have been is to be powered by money, in whatever way it is possible. And thus, the ratio of unemployment and bankruptcy, broken and famished; the poverty-stricken rate is increasing like the rate of wildfire which again portrays the destruction of our ecosystem!
The rich get richer and the poor get poorer… the proverb to this effect has proven to be true, on course of time, and the human race is helping the factors of such flagrant imbalances to become more efficient and refined, instead of preventing and spreading equality and equity or rather leading the phenomenon to take a pace of sustainable order.
Now, the word sustainable leads to our next challenge which is the development of sustainability. A growth or a lead to development in terms of policies, projects and investments that would provide benefits today without compromising the efficiency of future generations.
Adding the factors which I would like to take sustainable measures in imminent future, with immediate effect: Global ecosystem, Education system, Eradication of cases leading to poverty and successful management of the same, Sound mental health that would ensure the Importance of Life on this planet, as a whole, abiding by the ancient holy texts, as well.

Nowadays, it is frequently seen that the main problem of the people, especially those hailing from the Third World countries, is trying to lead a lifestyle while maintaining a not-so-real image that may well be greater than one's life, solely due to the hype in the social media. Selfishness, fraud cases, scams, inhumane behaviours, and deterioration of mental health and its development are becoming issues mostly at the cost of proper education. Mentality of such backdated human beings who are made to think that showing off is a new style of leading a successful life. The type of education that may or can change the lifestyle and the basic thought process of a human being are much required, which enthuses and enables a mind to grow!
The main basis of the upholding of the future is Education. The Right to Education has often been reduced to just an act, by various governments of different countries. It is high time the perspective of the same get changed to The Right to Proper Systematic Education.

The lack of a proper and definitive education system has led and is going to lead the future in a dark hole of uncertainty, where the Right to Govern might be in the hands of those who lack the vision of a world where sustainability may be found in death, or chaos open to revolution and fragmented world ravaged by fire and unforgiveness of poverty. If there is a hope, the light that can be carried to the future and the only way of keeping the torch lighted is through education. There is no age to learn, we say… so why not make it happen before it's too late when we are rendered unable to do anything, except delving deep within our own selves, and cursing our own future, in the process. It's always better to try a different way, rather than sitting idle, waiting for the world to change its course. Our future is in our hands, so this is us, we need to make a change before the change drops us dead.
Talking about the change, a recent change the world has seen and is trying to cope with the effects of its boon and disaster at the same time is, AI, the next best friend of mankind in today's world. Replacing and decreasing the workload of a person, jobs are done in fraction of minutes rather than in hours, to create fake identities and images… an instrument serving mankind is also acting as the one responsible for its destruction.
We have all seen the effects of AI in various movies, of how it takes over the human race and makes people its slave. The risks and the idiosyncrasy of believing in the intelligence of machine learning, deep learning and the power of programming may well outrun us.
Well, aren't the movies for entertainment? The answer is yes. Then my next question comes, isn't it informative about what may happen if things go sideways? The answer is also yes.
Hence, whatever we do or are doing in the name of advancement, a step closer to efficiency and improvement of science; we all should be aware of the disadvantages it is giving us. Maybe we are trying to make the world a better place to live, but is that at the cost of humanity? As yet, this is a question of which we do not know the answer. However, we may be knowing it soon.
