Close Up But this is how far they really were away from us Lioness by the river, you can see a baboon sitting behind her 2 lionesses and 5 cubs by the river 2 cubs playing, they were super cute Tag ! you are IT His face cracks me up they passed between 2 other safari jeeps 2 young male lions hanging out time for ...well.......you know... Oh dear Get away I said ! time for a nap As I mentioned, we were watching the 2 lionesses and 5 cubs and then all of a sudden, there were Thomson Gazelles flying past and one lioness went one way after them and the other went the other way. It happened so incredibly fast that we got very few photos and no video at all, it was so unexpected ! She almost had him! and she scared a heron away, he was sitting and minding his own business the tommies are scattering !
