Today's Bible Reading- Numbers Chapters 16-18.
February's Memory Verse- Isaiah 43: 1-3.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 60°, sunny, no rain, winds from the east northeast at 6 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 59%.
Well, one meeting is down and one to go. I have a busy day today. I forgot a load of laundry in the washer overnight, so that's getting re-washed. The meeting last night went well, but they did warn us that the lefties are planning to show up to the meeting tonight to cause problems.
I've never actually been to the building that the meeting tonight is in, so I've been looking at parking and where it's at. If I get there early enough, I may get a decent parking space. I hope so. I also hope that the lefties don't get a chance to cause issues. Anyhoo.
I have to go to the pet store to pick up more cat food. We're out of dry and running low on canned. Also, the next door neighbor who is selling his house has a team of peeps working on it. Looks like they're building a new deck and renovating a bathroom! I tell you what, if I had the money, I'd buy the place. It'd be a great place for my parents to live. I don't have the dough, though, so I'll keep dreaming about when we get this place fixed up.
Supper will have to be made quite a bit early today. It's pozole. I think that's how it's spelled. Pozole or Fozole. The spelling eludes me at the moment. Mom wants to go with me to the pet store to just get out of the house for a little bit. That's fine with me. She's actually ready to go. I haven't even had a shower yet. My hair is done, but I need a shower.
The pad Thai last night was a hit. I finished making it, but didn't get any of it until I came home from the meeting last night. Mom said that she could've eaten a lot more, but there wouldn't have been enough for me. It was very good. I could've eaten more myself. I made a double batch, but I guess I'll have to quadruple it to make enough for all of us to enjoy. Pop didn't get enough either. The sweet potato glass noodles were delicious! They fit right in with the rest of the ingredients. Very easy to make, too. I was pleased with the outcome.
Tonight is like a Mexican soup. I've made it before and it was delicious. Even Mom enjoyed it.
Um, let's see. Finish the laundry, get the cat food, pay the bills, make supper, attend a meeting and hope nothing bad goes down, and what else? Oh, I need to make an appointment for my eye exam and glasses. I could do that online.
That's about all I have for now, peeps. I need to get things going because technically, I need to get everything done before 5:30. The meeting starts at 6:00, but I want to make sure I leave early enough to find a decent parking spot. I'm not allowed to bring a purse into the courthouse, and I'm not sure they'll let me keep my keychain mace on. I may have to leave that with the officers at the door. Sorry. I'm a little stressed out. I know I want to be in that meeting. I just don't like putting myself in a position where someone could potentially harm me because of my political beliefs. All this over a library. Can you believe it? How America has fallen. Lord help us. We need Jesus.
Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
