Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 71°, sunny, no rain, winds from the southeast at 3 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 86%. Also there's pollen. Lovely.
Gracie was my alarm clock this morning. She thought that 6:30 was a lovely time to walk all over my body making biscuits. She's a little twitterpated today. She had a bit of a pukey on her blanket and since yesterday was my day of rest, I told her I'd wash it first thing this morning. Patience is not a virtue of hers. She was howling last night. I still stand by my statement that cats are perpetual toddlers.
I did put the blanket in the wash first thing this morning. She keeps looking at me as if she's asking, Is it done yet?
Right. It's going to be a beautiful day today. I have a few things on my agenda. Laundry is one. Making a pet store order is another. I also need to make a list of the things I'd like to grow in the garden this year. Maybe even put a plan together of how everything could be planted. I could also do a soil sample and see what our soil needs to help things grow.
Ledgers need balancing as well, so there's that. I have plenty to keep me busy today.
