Today's Bible Reading- Numbers Chapters 25-27.
February's Memory Verse- Isaiah 43:1-3.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. I'm so glad it's Friday. According to WeatherNation, our forecast for today is the following: 68°, partly cloudy with isolated storms and showers, 97% chance of rain, winds from the southwest at 7-15 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 96%.
I am exhausted today. Yesterday was a good day. Beautiful day. Just a little chill in the air, bright sunshine. Very springy. Mom finally got to the lab. We went to the dollar store. The trash was taken out. That was late because I made supper late.
Supper was delicious, by the way. Fried chicken, mac and cheese, and salad. We have one piece of chicken left, a bowl of mac and cheese, and I think the salad was eaten. Tonight will be ravioli, garlic bread, and another salad. I'll have marinara on the side for my parents. I'll just toss my ravioli in some olive oil.
Last night was wonky. I got so hot I woke up sick. Then my gallbladder decided to act up. That was at 1:50 this morning. It wasn't super pain as in the past, but it was too uncomfortable to lie down in bed. I took some stone dissolver and sat in my computer chair watching YouTube. I also ended up going to my health insurance hub and changed my primary care doctor. The one that had been selected for me by default was in another state entirely. Why he was chosen as a default, I don't know. Anyhoo. The new guy is my GP by default now, but the person I'm actually going to see is out of network. I'm going to a more naturopathic/functional medicine. I'd love for insurance to cover that, but naturopathic medicine is still frowned upon by the mainstream medical community in America. God forbid that we actually help people heal and get healthy! What would Big Pharma do? Total sarcasm, by the way. I am not Big Pharma's fan. At all.
My gallbladder finally stopped hurting enough to where I could crawl back into bed, so I went to bed around 3:40 this morning. Woke up around 8:10 this morning because my cat wanted nom noms. I'm tired. My coffee has gone cold. I had to microwave it once already. My brain is foggy. My head hurts. It's my sinuses. I noticed yesterday, thanks to Mom pointing it out, that the Bradford pear trees in my neighbor's yard are budded out and getting close to blooming. Vapor rub is about to be my friend!
The agenda today: Gracie's quilt needs washed. I think the other blanket on the bed could use a wash, too. The ledgers need balanced. I have a bill to pay. That's all I have planned for today. I think the dudes working on the other neighbor's house, the one for sale, are finished. I wonder if the new peeps will be moving in soon. The listing still says Pending on the realty website.
Not gonna lie, today would be a day that I would probably sit in the chair and rock and play my iPad games. I may look up the stretchy cast off again and work on Mom's sweater. I'm at the point where I can start finishing the right front piece and maybe even get the left front piece started. Fun! Once I have her sweater done, maybe I'll make me a sweater. I'll find something to make me. I do have another sock that needs finished. Maybe I'll do that. All in due time.
That's all for now, peeps. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
