Victoria  First egg of 2024 And yet this week an egg appeared in the coop. I am convinced it's Victoria's as she has been tamer than usual, squatting to let me stroke her. Victoria is a little like Jemima, quietly confident and aloof. Being friendly to humans is not on her agenda - unless she's in her egg-laying phase.  Daffodils Then I noticed the daffodils appearing - and the camellia is budding at the bottom of the garden.
