Today's Bible Reading- Numbers Chapters 10-13.
February's Memory Verse- Isaiah 43:1-3.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today, according to WeatherNation: 57°, partly cloudy, winds from the west northwest at 3-10 miles per hour, and humidity is at 75%. Oh, about a 5% chance of rain.
It's going to be cool, but a nice day. I may put some pine shavings on the daffodils to keep them insulated.
Things on my to-do list today: work on Mom's sweater, plant some flower seeds, maybe work on getting that rotten rose of Sharon bush pulled out. In other words, try to spend some time outside today. It's a beautiful day. I need the sunshine. I need the fresh air.
If I had the dough, I'd probably go get a hosta plant and start the process of landscaping the area where the rose of Sharon bushes are. I'm a little short on cash, though, and I'm trying to save up for both my best friend's visit next month, and for new glasses. Thank the Lord I do have vision insurance now. That should help. I may get my glasses updated in the next week or two. We'll see.
Um, let's see. Oh! I have a sunberry sprout now! Isn't that amazing? So, a corn sprout, a couple of red onion sprouts, and a sunberry sprout now. The squash is doing wonderful. I have a little baby one growing. Still can't tell if it's butternut or acorn. I picked a pea pod yesterday and gave it to Mom. She said they were pretty tasty. I also saw a bumblebee in the greenhouse having a grand old time with the lemon flowers.
I have some marigold seeds and sunflower seeds I may plant today. Maybe put them out in the greenhouse and see what comes up. I don't know what to do about the ant situation. They seem to like to take over my favorite areas of the yard. I have a couple of ideas on dealing with the flower beds in the front yard this year. We'll see how it all works out.
For now, I need to get a shower, get dressed, and enjoy my day off.
That's all for now, peeps. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
