False Spring or Real Spring?

February 22

Today's Bible Reading- Numbers Chapters 22-24.
February's Memory Verse- Isaiah 43:1-3.

Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. According to WeatherNation, here's our forecast for today: 65°, partly cloudy, winds from the south southeast at 3-17 miles per hour throughout the day, and humidity is sitting at 85%.

Well, it's going to be another beautiful day today. I'm still waiting for that last blast of winter. Typically, our spring does start in late February, but I still think we're going to get something. Maybe March will bring a winter surprise. I don't know. There's still a few days left in February, so something could pop up.

Yesterday was productive. The Lord really helped me get things done. I finished the laundry, folded it and put it away. I got the menu put together and got the grocery list made. I picked up my room a little bit and tossed some trash that had been needing it. It's amazing what just a couple of organizing efforts and throwing away some trash will do to make a room look nicer. I did go grocery shopping. I didn't get out until almost two in the afternoon, and I didn't get home until 4:30. I had three stores to go to. The Lord really did help me, though, and I saved quite a bit.

Supper was very late last night. 7:30. Wow. It was good, though. Burgers and fries. Tonight I'll be making fried chicken, which needs pulled from the freezer, and we'll have a salad and mac and cheese on the side.

It's trash day today, so maybe I can get some stuff pulled together that's needed tossing for a while. I also need to make a non-grocery run for household things. Dish soap, trash bags, tissues, etc. Mom may want to go to the lab today, too. I think it's supposed to rain tomorrow, so today would be a good day for her to do that. We'll see.

Gracie has been working on a hairball, so her quilt needs washed again, and she's a bit discontent that it's not on the bed. She's enjoying the heater, though, and has been up to her regular tricks to get me away from the computer.

In other news, another sunberry sprout has come up! It'll be interesting to see if I can grow them. I think the pea plants are ready to be pulled out from the grow bed and the bed readied for another crop. Not sure what I'd like to plant there. Maybe once the dragon cuke is a bit bigger, I could potentially plant it there. The muncher cucumber plant just isn't faring well. I wonder if it's getting too much water. The plant looks healthy, but it's just not producing cucumbers. They start growing and then they just die off.

The bumbles have found the lemon trees, and they're pollinating like fiends. Maybe they'll pollinate on the squash, too. I hope so. I'd love to know what type of squash it is. I have two little baby ones on there.

That's about all I have for today, peeps. I'm a bit tired from yesterday's travels. I was all over town getting grocery deals. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
