Today's Bible Reading- Numbers Chapters 14-15.
February's Memory Verse- Isaiah 43: 1-3.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. According to WeatherNation, here's our forecast today: 57°, mostly sunny, winds from the northeast at 2-8 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 69%.
It's going to be a beautiful day today. A great beginning to a busy week ahead. I have a political meeting tonight, another one tomorrow night, Mom decided that this week is the week she'll go to the lab, and there's something else. It's escaping my brain at the moment, but I have a full week ahead.
Saturday had high hopes, but I was so exhausted. I managed to get the rose of Sharon bush pulled out and that's about it. Oh, I did plant some flower seeds. We'll see what comes up. I planted two little flats of marigolds, two flats of sunflowers, and a flat of larkspur. When I say flat, what I'm talking about are those biodegradable cartons you get from the garden center. There's about five in a pack, and each carton has about 10 places or so where you can plant flowers. So, I guess I planted 20 marigolds, 20 sunflowers, and 10 larkspur.
Sunday was a day of rest. Sort of. I made dinner and that took some doing, but it wasn't a heavy amount of work. I spent the rest of the day working on Mom's sweater. I've made real progress! I'm almost finished with the right front piece. I'll do the left front piece, the pockets, and then I should be able to sew it all together and then put a little border around the front.
I see and hear a crew of dudes next door. Looks like they're replacing the back deck? Or just getting rid of it? I does need replacing, though. They're also looking around in the workshop. I'll have to be careful getting dressed. Wouldn't want them to look in my window and see a naked marshmallow!
Today's agenda: ledgers, laundry, I have a bill to pay, and I need to make supper a little early. My meeting starts at 7:00, but I need to get there a little bit early if possible. Supper tonight is pad Thai. Yum. I'm looking forward to it. Not spicy. Just enjoyable. And the noodles. Mm. I do love noodles. I'm going to use those sweet potato glass noodles for the dish tonight.
That's all I have for now, peeps. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
