Black History
like all history
is filled with
death
that seems to be
what history is
one war
after another
one murder
after another
African Americans
living in fear
simply because
they exist
simply because
they don't fit
into the prejudices
of others
simply because
they have few ways
to fight back
history is
a story of
people held back
held down
brutalized
and killed
by white men
America
is founded on
the slavery of others
of control
brutality
greed
hatred
violence
and nothing much
has actually changed
it's sick
disgusting
pathetic
and we need
to make it
STOP
NOW
