it's silly to only have
birthday cakes
once a year
there's nothing stopping us
from having a birthday cake
anytime we feel like having one
we can have one for
the birth of an idea
or for birth
of a new drawing
we can have one for
any kind of new day
it seems that having a
birthday cake
only
on one's birthday is a waste
of sugar flowers
that can
or might
make you sick
if you eat all of them
but hey
if you want to eat them
go ahead
there are too many rules
in life
we can change this one
so next time
you hear a new song
that makes you happy
get a birth-day cake
and celebrate
the birth of a new song
we need more
happiness
and cake
in life
