Winter's dark evenings have been perfect for bingeing on a few popular TV shows. And if you're curious, here's what we've been watching.
Saltburn on Amazon Prime: A black comedy psychological thriller film written, directed, and co-produced by Emerald Fennell with a truly disturbing ending. I shall never hear Sophie Ellis Bextor's Murder on the Dancefloor again without thinking of that scene.
Ted Lasso on Apple TV: We're late to the party with this series, but we have loved it! Hannah Waddington is superb. It's also been fun to spot all the locations we know well.
Fool Me Once on Netflix: Not gonna lie, I was drawn to this simply because the delicious Richard Armitage is in it. 🙂
Mr. Bates v The Post Office on ITVX: A dramatisation of the true story of how executives of the Post Office hid flaws in their new accounting system and then pursued postmasters/mistresses through the courts on charges of theft and false accounting.
Greyhoundon Apple TV: In a thrilling story inspired by real event in World War II, Captain Ernie Krause (Tom Hanks) leads an international convoy of 37 ships on a dangerous mission across the Atlantic to deliver soldiers and supplies to the Allies.
Masters of the Air on Apple TV: The story of the US airmen who risked their lives to fly with the 100th Bomb Group, based at RAF Thorpe Abbots in Norfolk, England during the Second World War.
