Today's Bible Reading- Exodus Chapters 18-21.
January's Memory Verse- Isaiah 41:10.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 57°, cloudy, 60% chance of rain, winds from the east northeast at 9 miles per hour, and humidity is 100%.
It's a drizzly morning this morning. The coffee has gone cold, the birds outside are digging for worms, and a misty rain is falling. The daffodils are starting to come up.
I got most of my laundry done yesterday. I got Mom's sweater up to the next step, but now I'm stuck because I don't understand the pattern. It's supposed to be easy. It has to do with casting off stitches to shape the shoulders. I'll have to dig around and see if I can find a video on it. Or at least something similar.
It's menu and grocery shopping day. I have no food for tonight, so I'll have to go out.
Gracie is happy. Her quilt was washed yesterday. She's chilling on it, watching the birds and squirrels on the tv.
The depression is still here. I feel like a failure for not noticing the financial situation better. Had I realized, we wouldn't be in near the mess we're in. It truly makes me want to give up and go live in a hole somewhere.
Because of inflation, I'll have to raise the grocery budget. I'm planning on getting cash out and just going by that.
That's about all I have for today. I need to figure out just what all I need to get, make a menu, all that stuff.
Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
