Today's Bible Reading- Exodus Chapters 25-27.
January's Memory Verse- Isaiah 41:10.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 70°, mostly cloudy, 40% chance of rain, winds from the southwest at 9 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 95%.
It's going to be very spring-like today. I'm happy for that. I'm ready for spring. The daffodils I replanted last year are starting to come up. That's a welcome sign. A little early, though. I hope they don't get bit. We may get our ice storm late this year. We'll see.
Let me refill my coffee cup. It's a two-cupper day.
Okay. I managed to get a few things done yesterday. The boxes went to the dump. The bird feeders were refilled. I finished the back piece of Mom's sweater. I started on the right front piece of the sweater.
Supper was decent. I made a citrus turkey roast with mashed potatoes and green beans. Mom and Pop seemed to enjoy it. There's just enough leftover turkey to make the turkey a la king today. I'll have an extra meal this week because I forgot that we are meeting one of my cousins from South Dakota on Monday. We're going to use the gift card my best friend sent us to eat out. My cousin is on his way to Florida for a convention.
It probably won't be a long dinner because he'll have to be on his way to Savannah. That's okay.
Today, I have ledgers, a water bill that needs paid, I need to get more cat food, and then whatever else the Lord puts in my path. I may work on the sweater some more. The turkey a la king is a skillet meal, so it shouldn't take too terribly long.
Oh, I need to order more hose for Mom. Yep. That's a thing I need to do. I also need to pull out the money for the groceries next week.
Last night, I was climbing in bed and I heard a loud bang. It sounded like a gunshot. I looked outside, but didn't see anything. I wonder if someone is picking off cats. I wouldn't be surprised. They're becoming a bit of a nuisance again. I keep having to bring in Thelma's food so the neighbor's cats won't come over and eat it all up.
That's all I have for today, peeps. I need to get around and get going. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
