so many things
are beautiful
but impossible
to live with
things look one way
but in reality
they aren't practical
or even workable
this photo is gorgeous
enticing
but for those of us who
live with snow
in the winter
that feeling only lasts
until one has to leave the house
life is rarely what it seems
why don't we get that
why do we always fall for
the idea of something
rather than the reality
I mean
this picture is so lovely
even though
I know how difficult
it is to live with snow
but for that one moment
that one glance
the picture
is fairy tale magic
and I guess that's
enough
