Another spot all BTS armies must visit is the Hyuga Cafe which has been remodeled from BTS's old dormitory. Word has it that the current cafe was bought over by an army who converted the dorm to the cafe today but kept parts of the old dorm intact for all armies to get a look into the band's life
The entrance of the cafe was quite discreet and had it not been the group of armies outside taking pictures, we would have walked past it. I did not manage to get a full-height picture of the building as I was dying from climbing the slopes to get to the cafe. The building itself spans across 3-4 stories with a small courtyard
The first room that greeted us was this clean space where a drawing of the BTS group was placed at the centre for armies to take pictures. A huge mirror as well as simple decoration is also placed within the room
One level up is the main living area which is now the main sitting area for customers. The main highlight of this room is the wall plastered with post-stick notes written by armies from all over the world. There are so many of them that the first layer of the wall is covered and protected by an acrylic cover and notes have started to take over the cover as well
The bakery and beverage order counter is also located on this floor but unfortunately, as we visited in the late afternoon, most of the breads and desserts were sold out. So we only ordered drinks to quench our thirst
The drinks were normal with nothing too special since the experience was the key to us visiting the cafe. You can see my friends happily leaving their messages for BTS
The rest of the cafe is converted from the member's rooms. An army would be able to tell which room belongs to which members and I guess it is a pretty exciting experience to be walking on the grounds they used to live in
Overall, the cafe is packed with fans either local or overseas and if you visit late, you will miss out on the baked goods which I read are pretty decent as well. The owner did well by leaving parts of the cafe as it is from the dorm and decorating parts of it with artistic paintings so the entire cafe does feel very relaxing
