I can't last remember when I felt bored in a day in my life.
Not to say that's a bad thing. But since childhood, my interests have always been one too many. Between school, homework, reading, watching TV, extracurricular classes, and practising dance choreographies, time would speed past in the blink of an eye.
Now, as a 28 year-old, nothing much has changed.
I have just as many "things to do" in a day as I did back then. Some days, maybe even more.
Discovering the world of bullet journaling happened naturally to me during my undergrad. I'd spend hours watching and trying to recreate aesthetic spreads on blank pages of a diary.
It wasn't always perfect. Nevertheless, I had begun maintaining a planner, and that's what was important. I was able to direct my attention to everything that had to be done on a particular day and approach each task in a systematic manner.

This probably doesn't sound fun to some of you, but I was living my best nerd life.
I was able to finish all my college assignments on time. I was learning foreign languages AND actually making progress. I worked part-time as a freelance writer (now, it's a full-time role) to make just enough to treat myself whenever I felt like it.
While I was obviously putting in the effort to achieve all of these goals, I don't think my efforts would have had a significant impact if the planner wasn't a guiding force, helping me with time management.
I must admit, this journey wasn't without its own ups and downs.
Sometimes, I have gone days without noting down a single thing simply because I was burned out and wanted to spend a day, going with the flow. Sometimes, looking at the to-do list itself was overwhelming (that's all on me for trying to bite off more than I can chew).
But month after month, I have always come back to it. After 2 consecutive years of maintaining a bullet journal, I started buying planners online.
This has almost become a New Year tradition of sorts. For the last 3 years, every December, I would shortlist various planners in terms of functionality, design, quality, and cost, and then buy the one that seemed like the best choice.
Jotting down my goals for the new year became something I looked forward to. Because then, throughout the year, I knew what I wanted to achieve, and I knew how to get there.
2023 has been one of the most momentous years of my life. And I can't imagine unlocking these milestones if I hadn't been maintaining a planner.
For next year, I wanted to do something different. From physical planners, I have decided to switch to a digital planner.
And what better way to customise it as per my preferences and planning tendencies than to create one myself.
I had initially thought of making the planner just for myself and didn't think I'd put it up for purchase but I love how it has turned out. Plus, some of you probably have similar interests and habits as mine, so I thought this would help.
Introducing the 2024 Make It Happen Digital Planner
Here's a glimpse of what it looks like.

One thing I want all of you to keep in mind is that this is a week-focused digital planner with 52 sets of weekly & daily pages. The monthly pages are placed according to when a new month starts.
The thought process behind doing this was to ensure that you set goals at the start of each week and not just the month. This way, you can plan and measure the progress you are making on a week-by-week basis.
If you end up getting the planner, do let me know what you think of it. I had tons of fun creating it, and I can't wait to see what my 2024 looks like!
