Today's Bible Reading- 2 Thessalonians Chapters 2-3 and 1 Timothy Chapters 1-5.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 56°, sunny, no rain, iffy air quality (it's going to be an allergy day), winds are calm for the moment, and humidity is sitting at 87%.
How was your day yesterday? Well, I changed the fish tank water, wrapped the presents I already had for my best friend and her kids, took Mom shopping, bought a couple of extra presents for my bestie, came home wrapped those presents, made supper and crashed.
It was a long day. A lot of traffic, a lot of stressing over things I have no control over, and trying to get things done that clearly were not meant for me to be doing yesterday.
Today will be different. I have a lot on my plate, but whatever doesn't get done will get rolled over into tomorrow. I want to enjoy the Christmas season, not stress over things. Christmas is about celebrating the birth of Christ our Savior, not how many presents can I buy.
First things first, I am getting the ledgers balanced. Then, I will get presents for our family wrapped. I usually help Mom wrap things because she doesn't like to do it and I love wrapping presents. After that's done, I think Mom may want me to purchase a gift online for my sister's kids. I think. We were talking about it yesterday, but didn't come to a definite conclusion.
Once all that is done, I still need to make a grocery list. If I have time today, I'll go grocery shopping. If not, I'll use the gift card my bestie sent and buy some supper and get the groceries tomorrow.
So, there's a lot to do and a lot that can be done. If I make it to the grocery store today, we'll be having spicy peanut chicken with rice and an Asian veggie blend tonight. Either that or biscuits and gravy.
That's all I have for now, peeps. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤ And Merry Christmas!
