Today's Bible Reading- Romans Chapters 10-14.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 58°, sunny, no rain, iffy air quality, winds are coming from the north northwest at 3 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 84%. It's currently 33° with a real feel of 32°.
Brr. My peas got bit by the cold yesterday. So did the buckwheat and the bok choy. We had ice in the grow beds! I haven't been outside yet today, but I'm sure that we've probably lost the peas. We may lose the lemons, too. I hope not. I've worked really hard to keep them going.
Had a weird thing happen this morning. The power went out in the hall, den, living room and laundry room. That meant that the internet went out because the modem is in the den. Mom wondered if it was the new heater. I don't think so. What makes it so strange, though, is the den. The den is on the same breaker as my room and my parents' room. Why did the power go out there and not in my room? Weirdness. I went it and flipped switches until I heard the modem start back up. No switches were sitting in the center. They all said they were on. I don't know. It's weird.
Anyhoo. I did get my laundry done, but it needs folded and put away. I didn't get to the ledgers yesterday. I did get the menu made and the grocery list ready. I'll be going grocery shopping today. Lovely.
Several of my Christmas presents are on the way, which is great. I'm on my second cup of coffee. Not gonna lie, I need a whole heap of Jesus today. He's going to have to help me. I'm a bit cranky. I woke up around 4:30 and had to go to the restroom. I got back in bed and tossed and turned, trying to get back to sleep, but Gracie decided around 6:30 this morning that I'd been in bed long enough. She walked all over me, meowing until I got up.
What is she doing now? She's all snuggly on her blanket, settling in for her morning nap. I have half a mind to keep her up. I won't but I sure would like to.
I had a thought this morning. Tonight we're supposed to have pork pot orange again. I'm thinking about substituting chicken breasts for the pork chops. I may just do that. It'd be an interesting combination. Chicken with sweet potato and orange. I think it'd go over pretty decent.
That's about all I have for now, peeps. I need to get around. I have laundry to fold, a shower to take, groceries to buy, ledgers to balance, and the car needs a fill-up. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
