Today's Bible Reading- Matthew Chapters 27-28 and Mark Chapter 1.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 69°, looks to be an even mix of sun and clouds, 10% chance of rain, moderate air quality, winds are calm at the moment and humidity is sitting at 92%.
So, yesterday was different. Half the day I was so foggy brained that I couldn't think straight. I did go to the pet store to get some more cat food. That was about all I'd planned on doing, but later in the afternoon I started getting clearer thoughts. That was when I decided to get the groceries in.
The groceries are in, the menu is planned--tonight is Pad Thai--, the bird feeders are refilled, and we have new plans for the fishies. We're going to bring them in to overwinter them. Right now, our temperatures are so wonky, that their little bodies probably don't know what to do. I'll be looking for a tank today, and we have some air pumps and other bits and bobbles. They'll be okay, I think. That'll give us time to build a proper greenhouse, build new tanks with a simpler design. What we have now is fairly complex. We don't need that.
Mom has a lab appointment today. She also mentioned wanting to go to a couple of stores. We'll see how she feels after getting her blood work done. Sometimes she just wants to come home.
I bought some McIntosh apples yesterday. Straight from the mountains! I'm going to make an apple pie this weekend. I have a leftover gluten free pie crust that needs used up. I'll make a French apple pie. It has a crumble top instead of a pie crust. I always thought that kind was the Dutch apple pie. According to the 1976 Betty Crocker, though, it's the French kind. Hmm. I learn something new every day.
That's about all I have for today, peeps. Not much to say this morning. My face isn't as puffy as it was yesterday, but I do still a headache waiting in the wings. I'm going to say it's weather related.
That's all for now, peeps. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends.
