Today's Bible Reading- Ezekiel Chapters 24-26.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 81°, partly sunny, 60% chance of rain this afternoon, good air quality, winds from the east northeast at 5 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 93%.
Whoo! Thank the good Lord, we got paid! I was over 1,000 miles overdue on an oil change, but since I was able to pay myself yesterday, I took it to the oil change place and got it done. Thank You, Jesus!
Also, we've started purchasing the items we need to build the greenhouse. I'd say by the end of the month we should have it all.
The rain isn't supposed to start until around lunch time, so I may be able to go out and get the sweet potatoes dug up. I was out there yesterday and I see some new growth on the vines, so maybe I should wait until next weekend to get it done. I do have things I need to do today.
For instance, I need to vacuum my room. I need to get some more hand soap. I didn't realize we were out. I see the toilet is out of cleaner. Um, what else? I'm sure there's more. Oh. I need to go to the pet store and get some wet food for Thelma. If I don't get to that today, that's okay. I'm not too concerned about it. I can make an order on the web. Maybe I'll do that today. Just order it and it'll get here. I think I may do that. On second thought, ordering online, while easy, means I have to buy packs of things. There is at least one flavor of the food we get that Thelma simply will not eat. Plus, I would like to find a couple of small packs for Gracie. She's had some constipation issues this week.
*sigh* Always something. So, pet store, vacuuming, wash my hair, hand soap. Do my best not to answer the yarn call now that I have a little money in the bank. I have plenty of yarn and plenty of projects going. I've taken a little time away from my projects because of my wrist. It's been pretty sore.
Oh, I do need to make a trip to the health store for some more inulin powder.
In other news, I'm thinking about taking a looksie at the push mower. Mr. B's crew haven't been coming as much, and our yard can turn into a jungle fairly quickly. I don't mind taking on the responsibility, but I need to have machines that work. Pop is fairly certain that we just need a new battery for the mower. I wonder if the weedeater needs anything. We have an electric one, but it's corded, and I would think you'd run the risk of accidentally nicking the cord. That'd be something I would do. Hmm. Things to think about. We have a gas-powered weed eater, too, but I'm thinking something is wrong with it. I'll ask about it.
Meanwhile, Pop is working on making more grow beds for the aquaponics. The plecos are really doing a bang up job on the algae. There's almost no algae at all on the bottom of the tank, and the airline is completely clear. Speaking of which, I need to feed the fish.
I'll end here. I hope y'all have a wonderful weekend, and I'll talk to you on Monday, Lord willing.
