Today's Bible Reading- Jeremiah Chapter 52 and Lamentations Chapters 1-2.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 79°, cloudy with some sun, 90% chance of rain, excellent air quality, winds are currently from the northeast at 4 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 95%.
We'll be getting bits and bobbles of Idalia in a few hours, but it'll just be outer bands of rain. A different story just a couple hours away, though. I hope everyone stays safe and dry.
As today's title suggests, I'm slow as molasses. I've been up for about an hour, but feel like I rolled out of bed mere seconds ago. The fish are fed, the bed is made, nom noms have been doled out, but that's all I've accomplished. I need to have some prayer time for sure. Rough night last night.
In other news, I completely forgot that today is Wednesday. Grocery day. Not sure I'll get much of that done today. If not, I have other things I can make. Not a big deal.
Tacos are on the menu for supper since the beef didn't thaw out in time yesterday. We ended up getting subs out.
My coffee's gone cold. Bummer.
Most of the laundry is done. I need to fluff a load in the dryer, get it folded, and then all of it needs put away.
I did call the hospital yesterday and requested an itemized bill be sent to me. I also got the taxes paid. Ledgers balanced. Today I have a menu to plan, groceries to buy, and I need to fold my laundry and put it away.
First things first, though. I wanted to write this out so I could focus on my prayer time. I need a whole lot of Jesus today. I need Him every day, but today I need Him a lot more.
Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends.
