Although all Janome machines come with an Instruction Manual, the higher end machines can be quite daunting to learn with their computerized functions and advanced engineering. To help flatten the learning curve and get you more comfortable navigating through and adjusting the machine, Janome has created a number of Workbooks for specific Top-of-the-Line machines.
Yes, we have received feedback from owners of other models who would like written workbooks, as well, but for now, Janome has companion workbooks for the following models:
The Janome Continental M17 has a video workbook series called "The Continental Academy", which you can read more about in this previous Janome Life blog.
The Janome Continental M7 Professional Workbook has 128 pages of exercises and little tips and tricks to help you learn the functions of the machine, including the Quilt Block Advisor software which comes with the machine.

The Janome MC9450 QCP Workbook is 171 pages and is also be valuable resource for those who have the Janome MC9400 QCP since those two machines are very similar, especially if you upgraded your machine to Version 2, which you can read more about in this previous Janome Life blog.

The Janome AT2000D Air Thread Serger Workbook has 42 pages of full colour photos and instructions to help you learn to thread and adjust the machine, as well as 3 blank pages at the back for you to write notes, record any special settings, etc. so you have the resources right at your fingertips.

Though the threading of the Janome AT2000D serger is different than other models because of the air-thread engineering, functions like adjusting the thread tensions, tips of how to create a Rolled Hem, for example, will apply to all sergers. The information in the Workbook is still of value to all serger owners, even if you don't have the Janome AT2000D specifically.
All these workbooks shown (Continental M7, MC9450QCP, AT2000D) are currently IN STOCK in our Janome Canada warehouse, and may already be in stock at your local Janome dealer. If not, they can order one in for you!
As noted earlier, the Janome MC15000 and Janome 12000 Workbooks have been discontinued, but you may be able to find them still at a Janome dealer, or find one for sale through various marketplace advertisements.
