Increase the creative possibilities and increase the FUN with this very easy to use software, which comes included with some Janome embroidery machines, but is also available separately for all relatively recent Janome embroidery machine models. These include the Janome CM17, MC15000, MC14000 (not released in Canada), MC12000, MC9900, MC9850, MC550ELE/MC550E, MC500ELE/MC500E, MC450E, MC400E and Skyline S9.
Janome's AcuStitch software has been around for about 6 years now, and it just keeps getting better and better! To help you get even more from your Janome embroidery machine, AcuStitch allows you to create some unique shapes using a variety of decorative stitches which are typically only found in domestic sewing machines.
For existing Janome AcuStitch users, click the Software/ Apps tab on the Janome Global Site to be sure you have the latest version of the software. As always, full instructions are included of how to download the update to your PC.
Also on the Janome Global Site are Janome Bulletins which include information and tips about new products, including part numbers, or about machine/ software updates. The Janome Bulletins are a handy reference tool so I print them out to put in plastic page protectors, which I keep in labeled binder, which is Red, of course, lol!
Recent updates to the Janome AcuStitch software include a very fun new category called Digital Ruler Work.
With-in the Digital Ruler Work update, there's a special separate Holiday/Christmas Collection of decorative motifs to download if you wish, which can be found on the Janome Global Site. I stitched them all out using the same decorative stitch for comparison, but there are many decorative stitches from which to choose, so you can really have some fun creating and decorating your own unique projects.

Remember, with the Janome AcuStitch software, we're using decorative stitches in the embroidery machine. How cool is that!? Since we're embroidering, be sure to use the correct type and weight of stabilizer for your project. The above Digital Ruler Work motifs stitched just fine using one layer of tear away stabilizer, but when combined with the heavier, more dense fonts, which are built-in to my fabulous Janome Continental M17, I should have used an additional layer, or a heavier, perhaps cutaway stabilizer instead. This is why I always recommend stitching a test sample, which is what the above photos are. Experiment with what you think would work best, and refine if necessary when you go to do the final "good" project.
Even more exciting news is that the Janome AcuStitch software is IN STOCK in our Janome Canada warehouse! Check with your Janome Canada dealer for details and to order.
Happy Sewing!
