Today's Bible Reading- Proverbs Chapters 9-13.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 89°, sunny with clouds, 60% chance of thunderstorms this afternoon, good air quality, winds are from the west southwest at 6 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 89%.
So, yesterday morning, I finished writing to y'all, and then I proceeded to brush my teeth and get my old clothes on to do some gardening. I worked outside for several hours. I watered the grapes, the fig tree, the blueberries, the garden patch, the cucumbers, and then I got myself a nice drink from the hose. Yum.
After that, I went to weeding around the cucumbers. Or did I do that before watering everything? I can't remember. Either way, I weeded most of the area. I got a little too close to the fire ant hill, though, and got myself a few bites. Ouch.
Once all that was done, I went to work on the potatoes. I think I got most of them. I probably missed some, but I did fill up a 9-inch cake pan with small Kennebecs and Blues. I also harvested what will probably be the last of the green beans, and three cucumbers.
Today, I'll be making a trip to the store for some needed supplies. With the potato and green bean harvest, I just need some cornbread and some ham to make a southern staple. One of my favorite dishes, too. Mom suggested that meal for Sunday dinner.
Other than that, I'll be chilling today. I am incredibly sore from all the work I did yesterday. The fire ant bites are on my wrists, and they are causing me grief. I won't be able to knit much today. Boo. I do want to add some water to the fish tank, and then probably on Monday, I'll write myself a note to check the tank water. I may check it today before I add the new water. See how the levels are doing.
That's all for now, peeps. I need a shower, to get dressed and get to the store before it gets too hot. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends.
