It was a month where I read one new book (from a favourite author) and re-read books on my shelves.
Between Us by Mhairi McFarlane | paperback | Mhairi weaves a story like a master painter, full of layers and detail and nuance. If you want a synopsis, read the back cover. If you want my review, I highly recommend you purchase this book immediately, then find a quiet corner and immerse yourself in the Brian's Club. You won't regret it.
Before I Let Go by Kennedy Ryan | paperback | I first read this in January and it was just as beautiful a read now as it was then.
The Love of My Other Life by C.J. Connelly | paperback | I enjoyed this much more second time around, probably because I knew how the alternate timeline was going to work.
Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus | special edition hardback | I first read this on Kindle in June 2022 and loved it second time around. So much so, I'm including it on this year's Favourite Reads list.
