Today's Bible Reading- 1 Samuel Chapters 20-22.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. You know, I can count on one hand the number of times I've had a sunny birthday all day. My 36th birthday weather is quite surprising, though. Not because it's raining. No. I expected that. No, it's the fact that two days ago, I had to turn on my a/c for the first time this year. Today? Well, let me give you our forecast for today: 48°, 90% chance of rain all day, good air quality, winds from the east northeast at 17 miles per hour with gusts at 26 miles per hour, and humidity is currently at 90%. It's 42° at the moment with a real feel of 35°.
How did we go from 85° to 42° in two days? My goodness! Well, at least I can wear my flannel today. Maybe that's why the Lord allowed this cold day. He knows I love my flannel shirt and my sweaters. I love cozy clothes. Mm. It's cold enough. I could wear my green sweater. It's so big on me, it's almost like a dress, but I won't wear it without some leggings underneath.
I'm not going to complain about the weather. Last year, it almost snowed on my birthday. It did snow in the mountains. My bestie came to visit and we had a good time. I wasn't in a very good mindset, so I struggled to enjoy things, but this year I'm in a better mood. I'm accepting my aging better. I made my own birthday cake. From a mix but still. It's cake. I frosted it this morning with canned frosting and unicorn sprinkles. It's sitting in the fridge. I've had one cup of coffee so far. Gracie has been a bit of a corker. She's played some, and demanded attention from both Mom and me.
Mom and Pop got me a bouquet of tropical flowers. They're very pretty. I know I have some birthday presents waiting on me to open them. Hmm.
That's about all I have for today, folks. I want to get a shower and start to enjoy my birthday. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends and have a wonderful Easter! He is Risen indeed!
