Today's Bible Reading- Numbers Chapters 32-33.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 72°, mostly sunny with some clouds, 50% chance of rain this afternoon, good air quality, and a light breeze coming from the southeast.
It's truly a beautiful morning this morning. The birds are singing so loud. Half the house sounds like you're in a forest because of all the birdsong coming from the security camera speakers.
The birdhouse didn't get put up on Saturday, and Pop forgot about it yesterday, but it'll be up this weekend, Lord willing. I made a trip to the craft section of Walmart on Saturday and left with three skeins of yarn and a crochet hook. I've decided to make a blanket. I hope it goes well. I'm wondering if I'm allergic to the dye, though, because last night I was going to bed and noticed itchy bumps on my wrist. Anything's possible. Most of my life I could eat anything I wanted, but after living in a place in Arizona where you couldn't drink the water but you had to bathe, brush your teeth, wash your hands and wash your dishes in the water (go figure), I developed a gluten allergy.
Mom must be tired today. She hasn't gotten up yet. I don't think she's too far off from waking up, though.
Gracie is struggling with being cold. It's 56° outside right now, but I'd say it's in the upper 60s, low 70s in the house. Still, she wanted me to turn the heater on. She's currently lying on her blanket, staring at me and purring, enjoying the heat from the space heater being sent her way. I think she's also waiting on Mom to get up.
It's Monday, so today's agenda is light. I didn't realize I had a whole dozen eggs untouched in the fridge, so when I went to the store on Thursday, I bought eggs. Because of that, I'll be nixing the planned dinner of pork chops, and will instead be making scrambled eggs, waffles and sausage. Lots of scrambled eggs.
Dinner yesterday was absolutely delicious! Steak was on sale at the store, so I bought two sirloins. They were fairly sizable, so I knew we could split the steak between the three of us. For the sides, I had baked potatoes and salad. It was truly a hit, and thank the Lord, I've finally found the secret of a good baked potato. I think I've talked about it here before.
Breakfast for me this morning will be leftover pizza, if it's still around. I'm looking forward to it.
In other news, the ants have made a home in one of my lemon trees. Grr. I'm taking steps to try and get them to move without damaging the tree, but the Lord's going to have to help me. These ants around here are more hardheaded than a brass donkey.
That's all I have for now, folks. I need to get around and get the ledgers balanced. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends.
