2023, Come At Me!

I'm starting off strong.

I spent the NYE quietly at home with Brendan and the fur kids. We drank and basically sweated through the day and night. And then today cause it's frickin hot as hell. 35 degrees today! Currently 9:30pm and I think I'm dying of heat stroke. But it's okay. I made it to 2023!

It's been a good day though. Besides the sweat. We had a good lunch of about 1.5kgs of prawns. Then Courtney called in for a few hours cause she was hot at home and was going to her sister's for dinner. She lives 5 minutes from my place so she sat around at mine first. I showed her how to use her Switch and we just talked shit. Got my mind off of being hot.

She left around 5pm and we had Chinese for dinner. I had an $80 voucher I had to use by the 31st on Menulog so I ordered all this food last night to eat today. And we've been watching movies all day since.

So far we've watched:

  • Terrifier 2 (have to re-watch it though cause I feel asleep)
  • Barbarian
  • Monstrous
  • The Mosquito Coast (not a movie but started watching it)

That's my day so far. I'm trying to start it off on a positive.

Here's my guest pic of 2023 and how I spent the night
