Today's Bible Reading- Galatians Chapters 4-6.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. I slept in this morning. Our forecast for today: 52°, 0% chance of rain, plenty of sunshine, and air quality in the green.
*Sigh*. Okay. We are officially in the last month of the year 2022. It's been a rough year. A crazy year. I'm so thankful that it's almost over. My hope is that, Lord willing, next year will be better.
Today is Thursday. The sun is shining, I'm way behind schedule, but I do have my menu for next week. It's a mixture of my own thing, Hello Fresh recipes, and America's Test Kitchen recipes.
I put our little Christmas village up yesterday. It's super cute. I also worked a lot on my sock. I hope it turns out. I absolutely love the yarn! I think I'm on coffee number three or four now. Still not quite awake. Gracie is conked out on her pillow. She got really cold yesterday and ended up spending the day in my chair in the living room. I was forced to choose between the floor or Mom's chair. I spent time with both. Mom's chair is hard on my bum. Not a lot of cushioning in the seat.
Today will be spent putting my grocery list together, balancing ledgers, paying bills, working on my sock, declining an RSVP to a Christmas party, getting the trash out, and figuring out what to have for supper. Supper last night was chicken, air fried potatoes, peppers and onions, and apple wedges. Tonight may be soup. Yeah. I'm thinking soup. Mom can have tomato, and I'll have either chicken and rice or chicken and gluten free noodles.
I also need to work on my Bible study.
Oh! One thing I did yesterday was clean up my crafting box. I have a reusable grocery basket that I've turned into a totable craft carrier. I keep my current projects in it and it stays in the living room. That way I can knit or crochet while watching tv. I cleaned it up and out yesterday and it's much easier to find things. I still haven't gotten to my laundry, though. Mom did hers yesterday, so maybe I'll work on it today. We'll see. I'm still feeling fuzzy brained this morning.
I also wrapped Mom's present from Pop. That cleared up some space in my room. I need to do some Christmas shopping myself. Oh. I just realized. It's Thursday. Mom's day out. She may not want to go out today, though, since it's going to be cold. She may ask me to do some online shopping for her. I'll wait around and see what she wants to do. Mm. I forgot about that. Well, I guess I'm just winging it today. Not something I'm good at, but I'm trying to do better about it.
