I wanted to write this post from a very long time. As many of my Readers know that I have completed my engineering degree in Computer Science. I always had in mind to excel in creativity which made me a blogger. I got married in 2012 and ours is a love marriage as my husband is from Kolkata, who is a Bengali and I am from Hyderabad who is a Telugu. We stay in Hyderabad, India. After marriage I decided to be at home and take care of my family. As my in-laws stay with us, I got a lot of company. My heart was always in creative field and I felt doing something staying at home. That's when I started blogging in the year 2015. It's really a great experience to share my thoughts and knowledge with the world. That's when I fell totally in love with blogging. There is a lot of support from my family to take it as a career. I am just trying to figure out the things to make it's a career.
If you know about Indian culture you can see there are different cultures in our Country but there is also unity in diversity. Not knowing much about cooking didn't stop me learning new things. I credit my mom-in-law for being so supportive and teaching me everything about cooking and Bengali culture. Within three months I learnt complete Bengali language. I learnt the language all by myself, I hear them talking and understood slowly. Though I can't write Bengali but I can speak efficiently. People often wonder how I learnt so perfectly.
If you love something you can definitely master it, you should keep your heart and soul in it. I can speak in four languages now are Telugu, Bengali, English and Hindi. Sometimes people often say that how many languages can you speak.
After a year or two I learnt a lot about cooking mainly multicuisine, if you are a regular reader of my blog you must know my love for cooking. I think cooking plays a major role in one's life as homemade food is always healthy. So the thought of how healthy homemade food helped me to cook even better. As I experiment different recipes and sometimes cook from scratch.
With time I developed many skills I am even considering adding homemaking topic in my blog. As soon as I got the thought I want to start homemaking section by this blog post.
I don't believe and like the process of multitasking and I work on one thing at a time. Many think that homemaking is all about cooking and take caring of family. I agree but that is only a part of homemaking, there are so many things more than that. As a homemaker we make a house into a home. Where ever I go, when I am back to my home sweet home the happiness is something different.
I get a lot of motivation from my family and I am planning to pursue my passion blogging as a career.
I am already checking my previous blog posts and updating, adding images whenever necessary.
As a homemaker I learnt many new skills, when I was a studying engineering all focused was studying. I rarely concentrated on other skills. But now I learnt many surviving skills for life. As both my in-laws are really supportive and I learn many things from their experiences. During the recent Pandemic we as the family together overcame the scary thing.
I love cooking different cuisines of India and some other parts of the world too. I love researching for new recipes as each of us love having great food. I love celebrating birthdays, I love to prepare cake for their birthdays with my signature style sponge cake and sometimes I order from outside too.
Apart from being a homemaker I love eating outside sometimes, listening to music both old and new songs, watching movies, TV shows, DIY's, blogging, cooking, reading fiction novels are some of my hobbies. I love collecting fiction novels from bookstores as I spend my quality of time for reading. I binge watch TV shows and presently I am watching Riverdale on Netflix. I even spend time on social media to keep in touch with my loved ones.
Being a homemaker won't stop chasing your dreams and achieving your goals. All you need is keep your heart and soul in anything you do. The rest will follow.
Being a homemaker I never stopped chasing my dreams. I have 800 plus Readers in WordPress which makes me feel happy and exciting. I never stop having time for myself. I love reading fiction novels a lot and once I completed 600 pages novel in just one month.
Whether you are working woman or homemaker all we do is take care of the family and everyone has their own style of doing.
So this is some of of experience as homemaker which I made into words. Hope you will like my post.
Don't forget to share how you felt about my post
Happy Blogging
