It was a week where our everyday life ran alongside historic times.
Floral tributes to HM the Queen, Green Park
We seemed to spend an inordinate amount of time watching the BBC
The Brainy One took a car full of recycling to the recycling centre
The Best Friend and I went into town to see the flowers near Buckingham Palace. We then had dinner at my club and she stayed overnight with us
The glazier arrived to confirm my measurements for a number of double-glazed units we need replacing
We met my sister-in-love to walk our dogs together
The friend-who-is-like-my-brother came to spend the night before heading into town early
We watched the State Funeral of Her Majesty the Queen. Once the procession reached Hyde Park Corner, The Brainy One and I took Tilly and headed down to the stretch of the A4 within walking distance of our house. We timed it perfectly - less than five minutes wait and a small crowd.
