Today's Bible Reading- Isaiah Chapters 15-18.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Today's post title is brought to you by Gracie, the perpetual toddler feline who wakes you up by chewing on any exposed appendages sticking out from the sheets. My hands, my arms, my elbows---they were all chewed on this morning. Why? Because she decided it was time for nom noms. If you've ever seen Simon's Cat, you will know exactly what I'm talking about. She is Simon's Cat to a tee. Thank the Lord for coffee. While I'm trying to wake up, she's over there peacefully sleeping on her pillow, acting as innocent as a dove. We all know the truth. I love her, but sometimes I wanna wring her little chicken neck.
Moving on.
The forecast for today: 89°, 20% chance of rain, and air quality in the green.
It's Monday, folks, so it's laundry day. I also need to wash my hair. Yesterday was a good chill day. I could use a few more of those. I stayed away from politics and, instead, knit, watched some church, made cheeseburgers, knit some more, solved some cryptograms, cheated on a few more cryptograms, and then turned on the tv to the show Whitechapel. Interesting show. A few bits I didn't need to see. Why do we need to see naked people on tv? I don't want to see that. It's unnecessary.
I'm not entirely sure what is for dinner tonight. I think it may be honey butter pork chops, but I'll have to check. I don't think the chops in the freezer are good anymore. The ground beef I'd pulled out for the burgers smelled suspect, and I put it in the freezer the same time as the chops: March. I do have some chicken breasts I just bought, so maybe I'll pull one of those out and we'll have honey butter chicken.
The heat wave continues here today, and Mr. B's crew hasn't shown up yet. I'm getting more and more concerned that they're about to give up on us. If that happens, we're up a creek. I'll start pricing lawn mowers just in case. It'll have to be a push mower since riding mowers are just way too expensive.
Besides laundry, I don't have much planned today. I'm feeling the holy hangover today. I'm very tired.
That's all for now, folks. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends.
