Today's Bible Reading- Isaiah Chapters 35-38.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast today: 87°, 30% chance of rain, and air quality squarely in the green.
It's pretty overcast at the moment. The radar is showing some rain headed this way.
So, I made it through all my errands yesterday. I picked up some meat in bulk at the store to split up for future meals. I only ran over the budget by $10. The receipt says about $20, but some of those things were stock-ups. Not bad considering the rise in prices.
This morning will be spent splitting up the meat and getting it in the freezer. I may also split up the slaw mix. When mixes like that sit in the bag, they go bad fast.
If we don't have thunderstorms, I may try to move some wood chips today. I'd like to also get some boxes broke down and a weed barrier put up around the aquaponics totes. My neighbor across the way asked if he could have some of the wood chips. I don't mind, but I do still need some of them. I hope he doesn't take all of them.
That's all I have for today, folks. Quick and simple. I have yet to have breakfast. I drank an herbal tea last night before bed that's supposed to calm you. I also started turning the tv off in my room. It must be working because last night I slept hard, long, and I actually dreamed. I haven't dreamed in months and months.
Gracie is sleeping on her pillow. It is pretty dark in here. I should have turned a light on to read my Bible, but I didn't feel like getting up. lol. I need more coffee and breakfast.
Pop's coming in today, so Mom will be busy cleaning. We have our own goals today. Dinner tomorrow will be something we haven't had in a long time. Roast, carrots and mashed potatoes. I have a few gluten free kaiser rolls in the freezer. I may pull them out tomorrow morning and bake them.
That's all, folks. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends.
