We only have 3 more days to count before Pentecost! Are you ready? Today we look at Hod of Malchut; or the humility of our sovereignty in leadership.

HUMILITY IN LEADERSHIP ROLES

Are we humble in our leadership?

Have you ever said "Oh I'm sorry; I made a mistake" to your co-worker or your spouse or your child? If not; you might need to take note of the rest of this article. Humility is a very important part of good leadership.

KNOW IT ALLS ARE NOT TRUE LEADERS

Another question to ask yourself might be: How often do I admit that I don't know the answer instead of trying to make up something suitable until you can go research the answer?

Good leaders realize quickly that they do not know everything. They are not afraid to seek the expert advice of others.

THE EXAMPLE OF MOSES

Moses set a great example for leadership with humility. He understood his limitations and surrounded himself with people who could perform those things better than he was able to. His hod of malchut was set at a high level.

We read of how he depended on Aaron to speak, and his father-in-law to govern the tribes. Zipporah was allowed to step up and assist with family matters. Miriam was relied upon for helping to lead in praise and worship.

GREAT LEADERS LET GOD LEAD

When Moses felt his leadership skills were questionable, he always turned to God for the right answers to his problems.

Moses didn't step into his leadership of Israel on his own accord. God elected him. We need to consider that what we do in this life on earth should reflect the things that God desires for us to do. He will show us if we are humble enough to listen.

LEAVING EGO BEHIND

Again; humility means leaving our ego behind or dying to ourselves and trusting God to handle everything. If we listen to God and let Him; He will always give us the right direction to our part of the story.
