Milton Keynes-based charity The Henry Allen Trust is delighted to announce their Black and Gold Ball, which is taking place on September 30th 2022 at the Hilton Double Tree Hotel.
The event promises a night of glitz and glamour, whilst raising vital funds for children and families battling childhood cancers in and around Milton Keynes.
The event will be held to help fundraising for The Henry Allen Trust, which was formed after Henry Allen, aged just 4, gained his angel wings after battling Stage 4, High Risk, MYCN Amplified Neuroblastoma for 2 years.
Before gaining his angel wings in October 2013, he made his mummy and daddy a 'Pinkie Promise' to help more families like theirs.
His strength and happiness and bravery until the very end was astonishing.
Henry's Legacy continues and Henry's Happiness has won the hearts of our community and his legacy is carried on through the trust, with its many supporters, volunteers and Team Henry staff.
As well as the announcement of the Ball, Team Henry is looking for support from people to help by attending the ball or potentially sponsoring the event. In the case of sponsorship, there are several packages available at https://thehenryallentrust.org.uk/events/black-gold-ball-2022/
No family should face the scary and traumatic journey that cancer inflicts, and The Henry Allen Trust is there for these families from initial contact, all the way through the rest of their journey, be it treatment, remission or palliative/end of life care and beyond. Team Henry can't wave a magic wand and make it all better, but we can be there to support and guide these families through the horrific journey they face.
The Trust support families and hospitals by providing care packs, activity packs, arts and crafts and regularly visiting hospitals across Herts, Beds, Bucks, Cambridgeshire, Oxfordshire, West Midlands and London.
Every month they hold a THAT support, which allows all the families that they support to come together and enjoy time in a social environment. They hold annual events, THAT Easter Egg appeal, THAT Family Fun Day, THAT Black and Gold Ball, THAT Fireworks and THAT Christmas Stocking Appeal as well as a continuous Care Pack Appeal.
The Trust also work alongside hospitals to improve their services and have already seen major changes and improvements thanks to the collaboration between us and the hospitals that we work with. We have formed a strong bond with the staff and are in regular contact with them at 10 hospitals across England and have plans to expand this to more hospitals throughout the UK.
So if your business can support The Henry Allen Trust at our Black and Gold Charity Ball then please do get in touch at events@thehenryallentrust.org.uk
