In an alternate universe, humans and magical creatures exist in the same realm. Evil forces are gathering and planning to attack this realm of many kingdoms. A young low keeper named Daemus is disturbed by visions of a catastrophic event in the future. He is gifted with Erudite sight.

The Last Keeper is a thrilling science fiction adventure tale filled with action and suspense. The book starts at a high note and keeps the pace. It is a marriage between folklore and the medieval lifestyle. The author paints a vivid picture of the medieval past with its abundance of nature and enchanted ambience. The story is set in kingdoms separated by an enchanted forest full of magic.

This is the first book of the Warminster series. Stylewise it reminds me of A Song of Ice and Fire, however the plot moves faster and keeps you turning the pages. It incorporates many characters too. The story is told from different points of view, there are several protagonists and you never know which of them will make it to the end. I recommend this to anyone who enjoyed Game of Thrones.
