Today's Bible Reading- Deuteronomy Chapters 20-23.

Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well and have had a lovely weekend. It's a bit overcast and chilly right now. Our high today is expected to be 62° with a 40% chance of rain.

Yesterday wasn't much of a day off for me. I spent most of the morning cooking. We had pot roast with mashed potatoes and gravy. I made a serious error with the mashed potatoes. I had a wonky brain moment and thought I'd be smart putting the potatoes in the blender. Oops. Them taters weren't mashed, they were liquefied! We had a good laugh, though.

I also took yesterday to try and catch up my laundry. Really, I have only one good load left before I'm completely caught up. It's a blessing to have our dryer back.

Tonight is another political meeting. We are going to be hearing from several candidates, including a candidate for Governor. I've asked the Lord to grant me wisdom and discernment to know whether these candidates are true blue or if they're just wolves in sheep's clothing.

One thing I do need to catch up on is the ledgers. They haven't been updated in a minute. The bank is closed today as we're observing President's Day. That'll give me time to catch up and enjoy life a little bit.

In the gardening world, I would like to plant some radishes today, if at all possible. I recently had to renew my wood chips request again. That's seven months I've been waiting for wood chips. 😦 I hope I get them! Oh! I was looking at the Roma tomato plant yesterday and I noticed tiny clusters of buds forming! We may have Romas yet! I also noticed a Chinese cabbage sprout! I hope the other seeds start sprouting soon.

That's all I have for now, folks. I need to get myself around and start the day. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
